Paul Confronts Cephas (Part 1) | Galatians 2:11-14
In Galatians 2:11–14, we examine Paul's courageous confrontation of Cephas (Peter) in Antioch—a defining moment that underscores the importance of guarding the truth of the gospel, not only in our doctrine but also in our daily conduct.
This message explores Peter's hypocrisy, the subtle danger of fearing man's approval more than God's, and the far-reaching consequences of compromising the gospel through inconsistent practice. While Peter remained doctrinally sound, his actions distorted the message of salvation by grace alone through faith alone, prompting Paul to lovingly but firmly confront him for the sake of Christ's church.
May this sermon encourage us to examine our own lives, repent where our practice fails to reflect our beliefs, and pursue Christ with humility, courage, and unwavering faithfulness.

He holds a BA in Integrated Marketing Communications from the University of Asia & The Pacific, pursued a Master of Divinity at Grace School of Theology, and is currently completing a Master of Arts in Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary, with further studies in Biblical Studies and Advanced Biblical Counseling at The Expositors Academy.
Ray serves the Lord alongside his wife, Celina, and their two Shih Tzus, Memo and Nava.
