Paul, An Apostle... | Galatians 1:1-5 | 14 June 2026

In Galatians 1:1–5, we examine Paul's opening defense of his apostleship and the divine origin of the gospel. Paul makes it clear that his authority did not come from men, churches, or religious institutions, but directly from Jesus Christ and God the Father.

This message explores why attacks on Paul's apostleship were ultimately attacks on the gospel itself. We are reminded that salvation is entirely God's work—Christ gave Himself for our sins, bore the judgment we deserved, and rescued us from this present evil age according to God's sovereign will. True peace with God comes through grace alone, not through human effort, religious works, or personal merit.

Join us as we reflect on the glorious truth that salvation is wholly a divine act of God and that the gospel can never be separated from Jesus Christ. May this study deepen our appreciation for God's grace and lead us to declare with Paul: "To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen."
